Currency in Dubai is United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED),
which is divided into 100 fils. There are no restrictions on
the import and export of currency. The dirham is pegged to
the US dollar since 1981 at a rate of 3.68 . Notes come in
denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1,000 Dh.
How to exchange currency in Dubai?
There are banks and money exchange centre at the airport and
all over the city for exchanging foreign currency. Most of
the hotels also will do currency exchange.
Credit Cards
Visa, MasterCard and American express are accepted at most
hotels, restaurants and shopping malls in Dubai.
