Dubai Tennis Championships is organized by the Dubai Duty Free Aviation Club Tennis Centre. Dubai Tennis Championships was started in 1993 and every year it is set near the time of the Dubai Shopping Festival, Dubai Desert Classic, and the Dubai World Cup.
The tournament was previously known as the Dubai Tennis Open. Dubai Tennis Championships attracts the world's top male and female players.
