Dubai International Boat Show is the largest marine industry exhibition in the Middle East. It is a classic showcase of yachts and boats from both international and local builders together with the latest innovations in marine accessories and equipments. .Apart from this there is snorkeling, parasailing, surfing and diving at the beach.
Dhows
Boat racing has historical and cultural significance in Dubai. Dhow (traditional wooden trading vessels) racing is considered as one of the most spectacular and graceful of sports which still takes place today especially on government holidays with more than 80 traditional boats take to the clear blue waters surrounding the DIMC in the same manner as it was done in the ancient days.
Abra
Abra is a taxi service with small wodden boats for cossing the creek between Deira Dubai and Bur Dubai. It is a main attraction for Dubai tourists. Most of the landmarks in Dubai can be seen from this water way.
